City-Traveling – Adventuress Cruise Ships Are Crossing the Oceans

Category : Travel

One of the best ways, taking a joyful vacation is to book with one of the major cruise lines a route for traveling somewhere on the oceans. You can choose between a short cruise, going along the shores to the next major city, or to one of the more close beautiful islands. But you can even take a trip to the other side of the ocean. The possibilities are endless. Dozens of cruise lines, ships and routes are existing today. You may check for the availability. City-Traveling by ship will give you lots of pleasure and fun.

But it depends also a bit on the amount of time you want to spend on it, is it just for one week or two, or do you go for more. Traveling oversee with a cruise might be the biggest adventure of all. You will come to the shores of other nations and even continents, with complete different environments, culture, languages and history. Here you can enjoy getting a real life entertainment already at your arrival in front of a harbor. Without having to change your accommodations, what means ship or cabin, you can then further travel down the shores to other cities and countries. Mainly it will be places of history or other major importance, or otherwise areas with lots of touristic enjoyment, so you can see and experience, what others normally do not have a chance visiting all through their lives. A good camera or camcorder is recommended for catching all the different attractions and sightseeing, as they are rolling by.

Every ship has a major sun deck, where several swimming pools and play grounds are available, giving you enough entertainment and sports, so you can stay busy, or otherwise lay in the sun and keep on relaxing in real time throughout your trip over the ocean. The restaurants of the bigger cruise lines have all outstanding menus, because they cannot afford, giving you something to eat you don’t like, and you would not be able to get somewhere else some decent food. Then there are discotheques and parties with life entertainment shows at night, so that you do not have to sit in your cabin, being bored after sunset. But if this is not what you want, just go and watch one of the available movies. For everything is completely taken care of, you will have a very fun trip, full of surprise.

Something what also gives you fun, are fishes passing by. But it depends on your route, if you will see dolphins, whales, stingrays or sharks. Watching good weather and sunsets is intimately very inspiring, but also the bad weather is, because of high waves, winds and rain.

You have to book your travel with a cruise early enough, because there are several different types of rooms available on many decks, where the view, the location inside the ship, the size and also the decor play a big role. Normally you can see it on a map, what type of room it is and where it is located inside the ship. Adventuress cruises are very popular and always at risk, getting sold out fast.

I don’t want to say more about it, but when you come back home, you really saw and experienced a lot. And you may keep lots of suntan from the deck side, where sun, wind and a breeze of salty water gave you the ideal conditions for an incredible face and body color.

The New Wonders of the World and How to See Them

Category : Travel

There are Seven New Wonders of the World and only one remaining wonder of the ancient world, the pyramids of Giza. Not surprisingly, the Egyptian marvel surpasses all of the new wonders, attaining by the far the most votes of any of the seven final selections. You can see the Giza pyramid complex by taking advantage of any cruise deals that explore the Nile. You’ll find the pyramids on the west bank of the river, where the sun-worshipping ancients believed tombs should be placed.

Number one on the new list is Chichen Itza, the pre-Hispanic city on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Located between the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean, this home of the famous Mayan pyramid can be visited while you are on a cruise in either tropical paradise. If you’d like to extend that cruise you can visit the second wonder, the 40 metre tall statue of Christ the Redeemer that towers above the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Third on the list can be reached on a cruise ship also, but it will have to be a Mediterranean cruise. The Coliseum in Rome to many is much more than just a monument, it is a symbol of the city that once ruled the world and still dominates the culture, language, and government of most of Europe and the United States. The ruined amphitheatre, once a scene of bloody gladiatorial contests and mock sea battles, has also been used by the Catholic Church for lodging and sanctuary for those in need.

Number four is a bit more complicated to get to. The Great Wall of China originally ran along the border of Inner Mongolia, ending at Shanghai Pass in the Bo Hai Sea. Mutianyu, just northeast of Beijing, is where the most well-preserved section of the Great Wall still remains and is open for tourists. It is not the original Great Wall. That was built in 220 BC and little of it remains. What you see today was built in the Ming Dynasty of the 14th and 15th Centuries AD.

You’d be better off chartering a plane instead of trying to get a cruise or even an overland tour package that includes number five on the Seven Wonders list. Macchu Picchu in Peru, the lost city of the Incas, was built in 1430 AD on mountain ridge 2,430 metres above sea level. It was designed as a hidden fortress for the Incan people and is intentionally difficult to get to so be prepared to do a little climbing.

Number six, the Jordanian city of Petra, carved from solid rock, can be accessed via the Red Sea. Number seven is the Taj Mahal in the town of Agra, India on the Yamuna River. Each of them is easily accessible and a major tourist attraction that is open for viewing. This most recent list of Wonders was finalised in 2007 and all of the sites on it underwent refurbishment. Each of the governments where these sites are located invested large amounts of money into them for the contest, making them even more of a wonder for you to see today.
