There are many things to say about City-Traveling. Normally people tend to plan their vacation, using the usual so-called stereotype relaxation offers, coming from normal travel agencies. These can be about beaches, cruises, mountains, lakes, rivers and lots more. The good part on these vacation opportunities is, that they are already perfectly worked out, the Hotel, the Flight and the Jacuzzi. Nobody has anything more to think about it, or to say, or to do, just go and enjoy. But doing it every year the same way, it all becomes a bit the same pattern and is gets pretty boring after a while. Who wants to go for 3 years in a row to the same place?
So let’s find some bigger game.
Now forget about your most liked vacation destination of the past, and start working with your own travel ideas, you may easily imagine. From somewhere you can get a Travel Brochure, showing you the best spots in your country, or go international and pick some foreign magazines. Here you can read all about the people, the culture, and some famous places, and you will soon start to become very interested. There are lots of attractions, historical environments and so much more, where you for sure will find your best choice.
But it must not be only this one city, you would like to see. It could be 2, 3 or more, being included in one of your self-organized vacation destinations. And you can and may already work out from at home, all the beauties you like to see, and how many days it should take you, enjoying this all. Off course it makes a bit of work, rather than just leaving it all up to the next travel agent. But it will go much deeper in your understanding and also enhance your personal travel experience, regards to your own plans. Soon it will all become a real awesome self-created vacation adventure of your own dreams.
You will experience different places, people, habits and classes, eat lots of food – maybe never tasted before – and you will learn a lot from all your observations. This will give you so much more, than you would get out of some normal relaxation offer, booked with your local, middleclass travel agent.
But it doesn’t end here !
At home you should all year long keep the big opportunity, to continue with your City-Traveling. Even you are back on your job, you can just pick any other weekend and go to New York, Boston or Montreal. The flights and hotels are very affordable. You can also decide for the distance of your trip. Is it a 2 hours flight, or 3 or 4. How far would you like to go? Off course, it also determines the price for your flight ticket too. But there are always very special deals over the weekend, what counts from Friday afternoon until Monday morning. You can either draw yourself a real all-weekends travel calendar, or at least make a list of opportunities, which you would like to take on, as soon you have the time and money available for that. For many really good people is money not as much the question any more, than rather having learned and experienced something new and more exciting. For them it has a bigger value, to go and experience life in other worlds and cities, with all the attractions and people involved. And it is worth also for you, to change your frame of mind. You could be in New York over the next weekend and go to the Opera. Then you could surprise all your work bodies, giving them your very last story of the last days.
The possibilities on this playground are endless. It only depends on your interest and actual willingness, doing all that. But your personal wins and satisfaction is it all worth. AND, there is always a possibility, that somebody may join your habits, and plan and travel together with you.
