There are some people who prefer traveling to different continents and places which have been on the map of tourism for many years. However, there are a few people who are adventurers and they like going to places where no one has explored. If you look at the tourism map of the world you will find that places like France, Spain, Portugal, United States and Australia have always dominated the competition and millions of visitors from all over the world visit places in these countries, but the world is changing rapidly and so are the destinations of the world. New destinations like Brazil, New Zealand, Malaysia and Hong Kong are soon becoming the most preferred tourism destination in the world as most of the places here are unexplored and has something new to offer to the visitors.

In the region of Central America, Costa Rica is one such country that is new on the map of world tourism but promises to stay and lead the competition for a long period of time in the future. Though, the country is smaller than its other neighboring countries it has a great potential to become the best tourism country in the world and if you visit Costa Rica you will see that the people there have already started working to make Costa Rica the holiday destination of the world. Costa Rica is covered by oceans on two sides. On the south west side you have the North Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea covers it from the north east side. The country is very close to Panama and therefore you will find some great landscapes here in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica is famous for beach lovers because it is covered by oceans on two sides. You will find a lot of beaches all over the country. The beaches here have white sand which reminds you of some island destination like Mauritius and Hawaii. However, since they are expensive you can always come down to Costa Rica and enjoy the same kind of atmosphere and environment. Now that we are talking about the environment let me tell you that Costa Rica has the best climate in the Central America and when you land in San Jose or when you are moving to any other part of Costa Rica you will find that the country is cleaner than other Central American countries which is why Costa Rica has earned the reputation of being the fifth cleanest country in the world.

The country also boasts about the best marine biodiversity on the planet and therefore not only tourists but also many scientists and explorers come here to enjoy the best of the nature. If you are an adventurer Costa Rica has more to offer like rafting, kayaking, mountain climbing, trekking and surfing. If you love food than it is in Costa Rica that you will find the best Central American cuisines and delicacies. Argentina so far has not received its share of appreciation from the world but soon many people have started realizing the potential of this country as Argentina now has become one of the G20 major economies.

Argentina is more towards the south of South American continent and therefore it is tapering at the southern side. On the west side, lies the Andes mountain range that Argentina shares with Chile and on the east lies the Atlantic coast. Argentina has more than 2000 mile long coastal area where beach lovers and surfer gather to enjoy their time and to make the most out of the tropical weather. Argentina also has many lakes, sand dunes and cliffs that attract a lot of people who prefer adventure.

If you are going to Argentina for surfing purpose than it is better that you head towards the northern region like Buenos Aires which is also the capital city and in fact the largest city in Argentina. Though Buenos Aires also is a coastal city you will not find surfing possible there because of the low waves, but you can enjoy your vacation there in the city and watch out different locations and city landmarks before you head towards other places from where you can go ahead and surf the waves.

One of the places from where you can surf the waves is Biologia. Yes, the name sounds very absurd but it is said that the waves are good and the spot is ideal for any kind of surfer. Hence, if you are learner you can dive into the water with your surfboard and ride the waves gradually. There are more than thirty different spots here so you can go ahead and make your choice depending on the flow and swell of waves and also depending on the crowd, because if you are beginner than you would prefer to avoid the crowd to give you more space.

Cruz del Sur is another important location from where you can find many different surf spots that ideal for all kinds of surfers. Other important places from where you can find different surfing spots are Santa Teresita, Santa Clara, La Bahia, La Matador, Varese, El Yacht, Waikiki, San Clemente, Miramar and Luna Roja. If you are in southern side of Argentina than you will not find enough surfing spots here because low waves and unfavorable conditions. However, if you still want to go ahead with surfing than Cabo Raso is the best place for experienced surfers and Playa Union and Monte Hermoso for beginners.

If you love water sports, than surely you do enjoy watching and skating yourself on the water. Surfing has rapidly become one of the most favorite water sports across the world and particularly in countries where there are many beaches and where tides are high and decent enough that we can surf on it. Though the sport originally began with surfing in ocean it has now moved into various categories like surfing in rivers where surfers surf on a standing wave rather than on the breaking wave. Some of the countries that rank very high when it comes to surfing are United States and Australia as both have many beaches and coastal areas where surfers can bring their own surf boards and enjoy surfing.

Australians by nature love games no matter what happens and since they have a lot of coastal areas, the country becomes one of the hot spot for surfing. The New South Wales also popularly known as NSW is one of the most crowded places in Australia and therefore you will find that beaches here are packed with surfers that come from all over the country. You will also find many international surfers here who come here to ride the waves and enjoy their heart out. New South Wales has a long coastal area and therefore you will find many locations here where you can surf. If you are in New South Wales you can go to Banana Coast which is near Grafton. You can even go to Newcastle which is another coastal area where surfing is very common and the waves are really good. The most popular city of Australia, Sydney is also shares the same coast and if you feel Sydney is a bit crowded than you can move to Wollangong with your surfboard.

If you are in the South Coast area, than you will find hundreds of beaches and locations from where you can move into the ocean to surf. You can go to Windang Island which is very close from Shellharbour. You can even visit places like Kiama which is very close to the sea and there you will find many beaches like Jones Beach, Boneyards, Bombo Beach and Kiama Harbour. Bass Point is another great location for surfing in South Coast Australia and here you can find locations like Piers, Redsands, and Black Box which are very popular among surfers.

Though Queensland does not have such a long coastal area it still has some of the best surfing locations in Australia. If you are in the Queensland area, than you can head towards Townsville which is another coastal location where you can surf. Brisbane and Gold Coast are two great places where you can not only enjoy surfing but also enjoy your holidays and vacations along with your family and friends. Fraser Coast and Sunshine Coast are very popular among the locals who love to surf when they have some time to go for the adventure. North Queensland does have a good amount of coastal area but it is not recommended to surf there.

If you have decided to go to places that are really eco-friendly and are the upcoming tourist destinations in the world than you should definitely visit Costa Rica. The country is situated in the Central America region and therefore it is very close to the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean giving you the kind of climate and environment that will make your holidays better and happier. Unlike many others we have a pre-conceived notion that Costa Rica might be plagued with a lot of violence and political situations but that it completely wrong. In fact the nation has been awarded the fifth place among the cleanest countries in the world and many other awards like the best marine diversity and the best eco-friendly country in the world.

So, how do you travel all the way to Costa Rica? Well, you can check some of the international flights that might be halting at San Jose International Airport. Many new international airlines are now making new routes which go through Costa Rica. If you are travelling from the United States to Costa Rica than airline operators like Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines, Northwest Airlines, US Airways, and Frontier Airlines are the ones that have direct flights to both San Jose International Airport and Daniel Oduber International Airport in Guanacaste. If you are in Europe, than you can select airline operators like Iberia Airlines, Condor, Air Caribes and MartinAir. Air Canada and Air Transat can get you to San Jose from Canada and if you are in other parts of the world than you can go for Aviateca, Copa Airlines, Mexicana and Taca Airlines which have direct flights that will take you to San Jose which is the capital city of the Republic of Costa Rica.

Once you are in San Jose you can rent a car as that would be cheaper compare to using a public transport which might be confusing at times. There are many car rental services available at all the domestic and international airports so you can book your car directly from the airport and they will drop you at your hotel or any other accommodation facility that suit your needs. These car rental companies also provide tour packages so if you are willing to the car will come down to pick you up from your hotel and will take you to some of the most famous locations in San Jose and the nearby places around the city. However, if you are driving your own car than you can take the Interamerican Highway which is considered as the main junction to move into different parts of Costa Rica. One of the best locations while you are driving is the Cerro de la Muerte also popularly known as the Death Mountains which is almost 3200 meters above the sea level and gives you a spectacular view while you are heading towards your destination. Apart from roads, rivers are also an important means of transport and you can use rivers to move from one zone to another if you don’t want to use the roadways.
